About us
A small shop that only does Wolf cooking
Redmond Wolf Repair works Redmond and the plateau around it. No franchise desk, no call centre in another state — the person who answers is the person who will be standing in your kitchen.
The business has worked Redmond under this name since 2019. The round has stayed deliberately narrow in that time: Wolf cooking equipment on the Eastside, and nothing else.
Most of the equipment we see is between eight and twenty years old: 36" and 48" dual-fuel ranges in Education Hill, induction cooktops in the newer Overlake townhomes, full suites out on Redmond Ridge that were installed with the house and are now aging together. That is a narrow enough band of machinery to know properly.
It also means we say no to things. If a fault is genuinely a sealed-system job on refrigeration, or the unit is beyond economic repair, we will tell you straight rather than sell a diagnostic that goes nowhere.
How we work
Three things we will not bend on
-
Four appliances, not forty
Ranges, ovens, cooktops and hoods. We turned down the rest of the appliance world on purpose — the failure patterns on Wolf gas, dual-fuel and induction platforms only become obvious when you see them every week.
-
Measure, then replace
Sensor resistance against the temperature chart, element continuity, manifold pressure under load, board voltages at the connector. Parts get changed because a reading says so, not because a forum post did.
-
The price comes first
You hear the part cost and the labour before anything is dismantled. If the honest answer is that the repair is not worth it on a twenty-year-old unit, you will hear that too.
What drives the number
Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
Past that, the repair is quoted as a range for the job in front of us and agreed with you before a tool comes out of the bag. The full set of bands — igniters through control boards, and what a replacement appliance would have cost instead — is printed on every service page.
Licensed, bonded and insured. We provide our licence number to customers on request.
