Rangetop Griddle Will Not Heat
A Wolf rangetop griddle that stays cold has usually lost its flame and locked itself out, or failed to light because of its knob, and both are quick to rule out.

Reading the light above the knob
Wolf’s gas range guide describes the same infrared, thermostatically controlled griddle that sits in a rangetop. Turn the knob to a temperature and the igniter clicks until it lights; the light above the knob then stays on until the plate reaches that temperature, and cycles on and off as it holds it. A flashing light means something else entirely: the flame was lost and the griddle has locked itself out.
Before you light it
The gas range guide has you lift off the stainless steel cover and switch on the ventilation first. A double griddle has a separate knob for each side, so check the knob for the side that stays cold. Griddle repairs are quoted after the diagnosis.
